We
were founded in 1958 and currently have about 40 members who all
share a love of singing and performing for our audiences at concerts
and other events. Here you can find out more about us - our background,
our repertoire and our members. And site that writes essays as well.
We
don’t have auditions and we welcome singers of all abilities,
preferably with some sight reading ability, but we work hard and
aim to make our Thursday evening rehearsals fun. We have a professional
conductor and accompanist and we achieve high standards in our
performances with professional soloists and other musicians.
We
have regular concerts throughout the season and a programme of
social events. You can hear us sing on this website and, if you
like what you hear, and you’d like to come to a rehearsal
or find out more, please don't hesitate to contact
us. If you are thinking of joining us, but are not
sure what's involved You
